2015 What’s Cooking in the Gardens? – A Celebration of ‘Green Living’

An event that combines the best of gardening and cooking, What’s Cooking in the Gardens 2015 was held in Redcliffe, Queensland this month. The event was hosted at the Redcliffe Botanic Gardens on the 2nd of August and travellers wishing to attend such events at this venue in the future can consider staying at a nearby Redcliffe hotel such as Oaks Mon Komo.

Featuring a variety of cooking demonstrations, gardening workshops and an assortment of food and wine, What’s Cooking in the Gardens provided visitors with a day of family fun. Amongst the special celebrity guests in attendance who shared their knowledge was Chef Matthew Evans who stars in the Gourmet Farmer TV series on SBS and the popular cooking duo, Rob and Dave. Apart from being able to learn more about yoga, natural herbs and arts & crafts, visitors who attended the event also had the chance to enjoy live entertainment and a special food court area offering a range of tasty and nutritious treats.
