A boom in Maldives Tourism – bring the hospitality industry to new heights

Being a country that is mostly dependent upon foreign currency, tourism has become of its main incomes in the recent years. Last year the country’s tourism flourished with a whopping 1.3 million tourist arrivals which are said to be an 8% rise in this sector compared to 2016. Recently, a significant rise of 25.4% in the number of Indian tourists have been noted.

Maldives 5 star hotels have become increasingly popular on a global scale, the increasing tourism in recent years has certainly pushed up the number of guest in luxury hotels such as Adaaran Prestige Vadoo. On the contrary, there seems to have been slow down in the rise of tourism in the Maldives, as a result, the government has set the bar higher with a massive target.
