Abu Dhabi Corniche Park Has Been Named One of the Best in the World

A prestigious accolade that is recognised the world over, the International Green Flag Public Award was recently garnered by the Abu Dhabi Corniche Park. The park was highlighted for its thoughtfully landscaped areas, recreational spaces, level paths and pedestrian-friendly points. This well-known site is an ideal family attraction for those staying at city hotels or even resorts in Abu Dhabi just off the mainland such as Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara.

The park was only one of three other sites that received this title out of a total of 100 other green spots; Ireland’s Tim Smythe Park and Belgium’s Provinciaal Groendomein Rivierenhof were the other two parks to receive the award. The International Green Flag Public Award was given by the Green Flag Organisation based in the UK; they conducted a global poll in order to reward and recognise parks and green spaces that have been well managed.
