An Age of Luxury: the Assyrians to Alexander – An Event for History Buffs!

History buffs based in Hong Kong can now take in a fantastic exhibition presented by the British Museum titled ”Age of Luxury” which epitomises the wealth of the ancient Babylonian, Assyrian and Persian empires. Over 200 exhibits spanning the time period between 900 to 300 BC. will be showcased. Items displayed will include various gems, pottery, precious metals, ivory and more discovered in archaeological sites from the Mesopotamian, Levant, and Mediterranean areas.

The exhibition will be held at the Hong Kong Museum from the 09th of May to 03rd of September 2018 daily with the exception of Tuesdays from 10.00 a.m. -6.00 p.m. Interested parties can easily access the gallery from many an accommodation such as The Murray Hong Kong, which will be offering an amazing Hong Kong hotel promotion during this time!
