Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara Appoints Thomas Fehlbier as General Manager – Heading Anantara in Qatar

Mr. Thomas Fehlbier was announced recently as the new General Manager for Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara, the brand’s first property in Qatar. An ideal choice for travellers in search of Doha hotels or resorts that offer an island getaway experience, this Anantara property features 141 rooms, suites and villas and such highlights as a private beach, spa, diving centre, two lane surf pool & 9-hole golf putting course. A German national, Mr. Fehlbier is an IHF Certified Convention Manager while also possessing a great deal of experience in the hospitality industry. He was previously General Manager at Thailand’s Anantara Hua Hin Resort & Spa, while also having been in senior management positions at well known properties around the world including AVANI Sepang Goldcoast Resort & Spa.
