Bangkok is the Second Most Visited City in the World – A Reason to Celebrate

According to a recent online report published on Thailand Business News, the Thai capital of Bangkok has been listed as the second most visited city in the world. The list was part of the Top City Destinations Ranking put out annually by Euromonitor International. While top place went to Hong Kong, Bangkok was placed second ahead of London, Singapore, Macau, Dubai, Paris and New York respectively. Mirroring an increase in visitors to Bangkok, city hotels have sprung up in the capital with properties such as AVANI Atrium Bangkok providing accommodation for both business and leisure travellers. Featuring 100 leading destinations when taking international tourist arrivals into account, the latest Top City Destinations Ranking showed that the Asia Pacific region is one of the key global regions when it comes to travel and tourism.
