Bringing together a diverse audience featuring major innovators of the Travel & Tourism Industry, Cinnamon Future of Tourism Summit 2017 was held on the 26th September 2017. Organized by popular accommodation providers, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, the event was held at Cinnamon Grand Colombo. Boasting many popular properties in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, the corporation’s latest venture is Cinnamon Life Colombo, which features luxurious luxury apartments in Colombo amongst other cutting-edge entertainment and corporate sections.
Welcoming many prominent speakers, the event highlighted the significant influence of Technology, Authenticity, and Innovation in the future of tourism. Marking its second successful edition, the conference featured special speakers ranging from Brekke Fletcher, Executive Editor CNN Travel, Bas Lemmens, Co-founder of Booking com and many other industry aficionados. The summit also discussed topics regarding the future of outbound tourism in China and its positive outcomes to the domestic economy, latest trends, and forecasts of the industry among many other industry-related topics.
