Last year saw wealthy men and women from across the globe gracing the Maldives to celebrate Easter in the country’s many luxury resorts, such as Finolhu Baa Atoll Maldives. The numbers from 2018 were higher than what the country saw in 2017, and it’s no surprise that events in Maldives in 2019 is only expected to attract more tourists of all kinds.
Easter brings about notable wealthy entrepreneurs and business magnates along with their families, flying in on their private jets. 2018 saw a decline in bookings and cancellations due to the state of emergency that occurred, resulting in a severe drop in tourist figures. However, the overall tourist visits in 2019 are expected to increase.
