Famous Beach in Trang to Delay Annual Closure – Annual shut-down of Trang Marine Park Postpones

The annual shut-down of Trang Marine Park was postponed from June 1st to the July 1st following the requests made by the hotel and tour operators with the management. The move to postpone the closure of the marine park came following the few turnouts of tourists to the destination. The major floods which hit the region earlier this year could be considered as one the main reasons for the fewer turnout of tourists. Tourists will be barred from entering places such as Morakot cave and Muk, Kradan, Chuak and Waen islands during the closure which lasts for almost four months. During such periods red and green flags will be hoisted in the park, barring the tourist boats leaving the shore. However, guests who stayed at a beach hotel in Krabi such as the Anantara Si Kao Resort were luckily given more time due to the postponement of the park’s closure.
