Recently, the WHO, World Health Organiz-ation praised Maldives for providing sea ambulances to supply healthcare services throughout its scattered islands in the Indian Ocean.

Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim, Health Minister of the Republic of Maldives stated that a network of health facilities and a strong transport system that consists of 25 ambulances to transport doctors or patients had been established as a commitment to delivering health care to citizens living in every part of this island.
