India’s High End Market is great potential for Thailand Weddings

The great demand to hold their weddings in Thailand by the high end Indian market due to most Indian couples finding some of Thailand’s top most destinations such as Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Hun Hin, Krabi and Samui as their favourite wedding venues has got the attention of the Tourism Authority of Thailand. The number of Indian tourists attracted by Thailand last year is over 1,050,000 and 86% of them were travelling on leisure as opposed to business.

More than 100 Indian couples organise their weddings in Thailand which would generate revenue of over THB 10 million per wedding with the average length of stay running up to three days and four nights.
