Jetwing Lighthouse hosts Master Class on Grand Crus – A Delight for Wine Connoisseurs

An event that gave participants a chance to learn more about and savour exquisite wines, the Master Class on Grand Crus was held at Jetwing Lighthouse in Sri Lanka. The hotel which also features one of the most popular Galle restaurants played host to this exclusive wine master class on May 15th which featured the 2005 vintage of Grand Crus wines that were flown in specially for this occasion. Chateau D’Yquem, Chateau Cheval Blanc and Chateau Mouton Rothschild were among the Grand Crus wines highlighted at the master class which was attended by notable wine experts that included Eric Hostiens and Ron Batori and moderated by Ranjith Chandrasiri who is the Jetwing Hotels wine consultant as well. As part of the event, participants had the chance to enjoy an 8 course dinner at the Cinnamon Room, with an epicurean degustation menu which was expertly paired with selections from the Jetwing wine list.
