MACL Kicks off Development of Two Towers in Hulhumale – 180 Apartments in Hulhumale for MACL Employees

The Maldives Airports Company LTD, commonly referred to as MACL, is one of the most significant entities in the nation, and recently the company announced plans to build two towers on the island of Hulhumale. The two towers, with 14 floors each, will provide a total of 180 apartments for employees of the company. Hulhumale is a reclaimed island that is situated just south of the North Malé Atoll, and also close by to many a luxury hotel in Maldives, along with the likes of Velassaru Maldives.

The project is currently being run by the Beijing Urban Construction Group, who are presently involved in the construction of the Velana International Airport’s new runway. The company also stated that the first four floors will be given to the government, and these will be built within the year, with the towers in their entirety being completed by 2019.
