Maldives’ First Travel Trade Show – Celebrating and Promoting the Tourism Industry in Maldives

One of the main industries of Maldives is tourism and that is no surprise as the archipelago nation is home to lush tropical islands and beautiful beaches offering all kinds of wonders from colourful corals to extraordinary marine life. Recently, Maldives hosted its very first travel and trade show to celebrate and promote the booming its tourism industry. The Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) as it was titled was held on the 12th of July 2017 at the Dharubaaruge Convention Centre in Maldives. The event was participated by a number of dignitaries such as Moosa Zameer, the Minister of Tourism who stated that tourist arrivals in Maldives are rising and would continue to rise with the completion of the Velana International Airport (VIA).
