Maldives wins title as world’s best spa destination
Maldives once again bagged the prestigious position of being, the ‘’ world’s best spa destination’’ at the 4th annual edition of the World Spa Awards, which were held on the 26th of October 2019.
The island nation competed against some of the most premier world class destinations such as Mauritius, Hawaii, Australia, USA, UAE and Seychelles for the title, however came on top given that the Maldives offers some of the best sanatorium services at exclusive places such as The Spa which is run by Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives.
The much-awaited ceremony saw the attendance of hundreds of distinguished industry leaders and guests from across the world. Apart from being felicitated with destination award, the Maldives Tourism Industry also took home prestigious accolades in various other categories during the event.
