Medicare: National Healthcare Exhibition – For A Healthier Tomorrow

Sri Lanka’s largest healthcare expo, the Medicare – National Healthcare Exhibition was successfully held last month under the patronage of the Ministry of Health. The Colombo leg of this event took place from 1st to 3rd March 2019; it was hosted at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre at the BMICH, a popular venue within easy reach for those staying at a luxury hotel in Colombo including the likes of Cinnamon Grand Colombo. The Jaffna leg of the event ran from 15th to 17th March at the Weerasingham Hall.

This year marked the 10th edition of Medicare and it featured five healthcare expos; the National Healthcare Expo, the Ayurveda Expo, the Medical Tourism Expo, the Medical Equipment Expo and the Health Awareness Expo. Visitors had the chance to see and learn about the latest developments in the fields of medicine and healthcare, while the event provided those in the industry a valuable space for networking.
