Murray’s Brewery American Beer Month 2015 – Celebrating Beer

A unique celebration that showcased some of the best beers from the USA, Murray’s Brewery and Port Stephens Winery hosted what it called American Beer Month this year. Those wishing to visit this popular attraction the rest of the year can stay at Port Stephens resorts that are within easy reach of the site such as Oaks Pacific Blue Resort. American Beer Month kicked off at the Bobs Farm brewery on July 4th, which is also the Independence Day of America. Visitors got the chance to sample seven different American themed beers which included two beers that were brought directly from the USA. The beers were accompanied by a delectable array of American style food such as pulled pork sliders which was served with fennel slaw and chipotle BBQ sauce. As part of the celebrations, there were two concerts held here; an Elvis concert performed by Norm Bakker on July 4th and a concert by Brien McVernon on July 5th.
