Muthurajawela Boat Excursions – A Cruise Among Mysterious Mangroves

The Jet Water Sports Center in Negombo has organized special 5-hour private boat rides through the beautiful Muthurajawela Wetlands. The excursions will prove to be extremely educational for children and adults alike as they can get a close look at the fragile ecosystem of the marshes. Visitors are guaranteed to see a variety of endogenous birds and plants, water monitors and saltwater crocodiles among a variety of other animals.

The cruises will take place on the 24th of March 2018 from 6 am onwards. The price for a ride is based on a per person capacity with a maximum of 8 people per boat. Interested parties can find accommodation in the coastal city of Negombo which is home to some of the most picturesque shores and best beach hotels in Sri Lanka including the likes of Amagi Beach.
