Niyama Private Islands has Appointed Hotelier Award Winner as the Director of PR – Beginning of a new PR age

Deveekaa Nijhawan the winner of the Marketing and PR person award at the hotelier Middle East awards 2016 was appointed the director of PR and communications at Niyama Private Islands Maldives. Deveekaa is a renowned name in the hospitality industry for her keenness in building media relations, networking, generating publicity and opening up marketing and revenue generating opportunities. Starting off her career in the same property in June 2012 as a public relations and communications executive, Deveekaa raised herself to the top in no time. She has over 5 years’ experience as a complex public relations and communications manager in a well-known hotel in Dubai which equips her for the impending job. As the PR and communications director, Deveeka has a role of handling all marketing, PR, partnership, social media and digital communication activities at the property and maintaining its name amid all other Maldivian hotels and resorts, especially the Dhaalu Atoll hotels.
