Opportunity grows in Indonesia as tourism sector blooms – Introducing a “Wonderful Indonesia”

With its beautiful beaches and high-end hotels, such as the Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort – a well-known Bali golf resort, Bali has always been right at the top when it comes to serving tourists in Indonesia. However now, with the government’s latest campaign, “Wonderful Indonesia”, visitors will be able to see the entirety of Indonesia from a whole new angle and enjoy the country to its fullest.

The campaign was introduced initially all the way back in 2011, shedding light on many tourist attractions that were once overlooked by many, such as the Komodo National Park, Borobudur Temple and much more.

Currently, tourism in Indonesia contributes to just over 9% of the nation’s GDP and according to Minister of Tourism, Arief Yahya, the goal is to double this percentage by 2019.
