The United Arab Emirates is a land that consistently boasts the epitome of luxury and magnificence, and features some of the most truly monumental hotels in the world, be it the sky-scraping Burj al Arab or submerged Atlantis Hotel. Unbeknownst to most, there is a new addition to the list of unique hotels in the UAE, and that is the Qasr Al Sarab, which lies in the Liwa Oasis, 150 kilometres south west of Abu Dhabi, within the Empty Quarter, the largest sand desert in the world
Truly a Desert Resort, Abu Dhabi has a hotel that will rival the iconic heavy-weights in the sister city of Dubai. The Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara is undeniably the epitome of luxury, with lavishly decorated rooms inspired by traditional Arabic Style. The hotel features two restaurants, where guests can either enjoy the culture and tradition of middle-eastern cuisine at Al Falaj, or the unforgettable fine dining experience at Suhail, situated on the rooftop.
With a range of activities from dune-bashing to desert-yoga, a stay at the Qasr Al Sarab is destined to be unforgettable.
