Qatar to Boost Colombo Service to Four Daily non-stop Flights – Connecting Colombo and Doha

Qatar Airways recently announced that in addition to the three daily flights operating between Doha to Colombo, the fourth direct flight will be added. To accommodate the high demand of travellers from the island of Sri Lanka to Qatar and vice versa, the B777300 ER aircraft will be operational on two of the four flights. The airlines’ Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker stated that Colombo served as the gateway to the island and is the most vibrant city in South Asia. Many Qatari nationals opt to stay at a Colombo city hotel for convenience and close proximity to the city, especially at properties like Colombo Courtyard. The additional flight on the B777 aircraft would provide convenience and greater flexibility to service the business and leisure sectors, complete with 24 Business Class seats and 388 in Economy.
