Royal Bhutan Flower Exhibition A flowery treat for your senses!

The 2nd annual Royal Bhutan Flower Exhibition held from the 4th to 8th June 2016, took place at the Ugyen Pelri Palace grounds at Paro and was inaugurated by Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen. The exhibition, organised by the Ministry of Agriculture attracted a large number of local visitors and tourists and was aimed at creating a sense of appreciation for the country’s natural beauty and surroundings. The exhibition; spreading over 18 acres, was filled with private nurseries, Armed forces, the National Institute of Traditional Medicine and Natural Resources Development Corporation displaying and selling their flowers and plants to visitors. The exhibition also featured a Japanese and Thai Garden with bonsais over 100 years old.
