Santos Tour Down Under – Cycling Action Down Under

Bringing all the excitement of world cycling to Adelaide, the Santos Tour Down Under took place from 17th to 25th January, 2015. The world cycling calendar’s first event of the year, the race culminated in the 6th stage which saw cyclists race through the city centre streets. While the final stage which consisted of a 90km circuit race was won by Dutchman Wouter Wippert, the overall winner of the Santos Tour Down Under was Rohan Dennis of the BMC Racing Team, followed by Richie Porte and Cadel Evans. Inaugurated in 1999, this now well known cycling tour is one of the most prestigious in the southern hemisphere and also featured a range of other events including the Subaru Tour Parade, Bupa Mini Tour For Kids and the special Family Day held on the last day.
