Seoul Independent Film Festival 2014 – Celebrating Indie Cinema

Showcasing some of the best in up & coming local cinema along with screenings of well known international films, the Seoul Independent Film Festival (SIFF) 2014 took place from 27th November to 5th December. Presenting short films, full length features and documentaries, SIFF hosted screenings at venues such as CGV Apgujeong. Film lovers planning to take in movies screened here in the future and looking for a serviced apartment Seoul has to offer close by, can consider staying at Somerset Palace Seoul.

Giving independent filmmakers a chance to screen their creations and gain exposure, the 40th edition of the Seoul Independent Film Festival was held under the slogan of “The Colour of Independence”. Among the films screened at this year’s SIFF were My Older Sister, ‘Summer, Love, Illusion’, The Wind Stirs and The Avian Kind, while international films that included Stranger Than Paradise, She’s Gotta Have It and Mala Noche were presented as well.
