South African Airways to Launch Direct Flights to Maldives – More Flights more Tourists!

On a media briefing that took place, in Johannesburg, the South African minister of tourism Moosa Zameer announced that the South African airlines will start direct flights from the capital to the southernmost atoll of Maldives – The Addu atoll. The minister further added the new flights would provide a new boost to the industry of tourism in both the countries. The new flights would also increase the tourist footfall to Maldives, which will in turn be good news for Maldives resort properties the likes of Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort. Due to their location which is very close to the atoll, the resorts will receive more visitors with the arrival of flights. According to reports, the new flights will commence their operation from 24th November carrying tourists weekly.
