Sri Lanka among top 10 spring destinations on National Geographic – Sri Lanka’s East Coast Becomes a Global Highlight

The East Coast of Sri Lanka is of undeniable beauty and has some of the most unspoilt beaches that the island has to offer. National Geographic featured Sri Lanka’s East Coast in 7th place on their list of 14 destinations to travel to during spring 2018.

The area was recognised for offering a bounty of experiences, from natural to historical. Canoe tours within Pottuvil Lagoon were mentioned in particular as being a remarkable adventure, in addition to Stand-Up Paddleboarding.
