Sri Lanka Discloses New Destination Brand – ‘So Sri Lanka’ Launched

Last month saw the unveiling of ‘So Sri Lanka’, the new destination brand for Sri Lanka Tourism. The launch took place on 5th November 2018 at the World Travel Mart (WTM) held at London’s Excel Exhibition Hall. According to the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, this new brand encapsulates the essence of the island and what it has to offer. As part of the new strategy, the brand will be promoted in a way to engage and attract millennial travellers; they are expected to make a significant contribution in the upcoming years when it comes to global travel revenue.

Sri Lanka continues to be a popular destination and it was recently named by Lonely Planet as the top destination to travel in 2019.
