Sri Lanka, in the past few months, has been seeing an increase in the number of tourist arrivals. China is one of the major markets for the island. South Lake Resort and many other Koggala hotels have recorded increased occupancy rates of Chinese tourists. Zhejiang Province in China accounts for a fifth of the total number of tourists from China.
