Sri Lanka's first hypermall, Colombo City Centre to be opened in December

The initial stage of Colombo City Centre (CCC) which will feature what has been billed as the first hypermall in Sri Lanka is set to open in December 2017. Providing a chance to experience unique and diverse shopping opportunities amongst the growing list of things to do in Colombo, this retail haven will enjoy a central location across from the Seema Malakaya Temple beside the Beira Lake. It is also within easy reach of many local landmarks covered on excursions by tour operators such as Walkers Tours and will no doubt prove to be an added attraction for tourists as well. While this high-end retail space will feature exclusive and top international brands, it will also have a state-of-the-art, six-screen multiplex featuring all the latest movie releases. Part of a collaborative venture between Silver Needle Hospitality and the Abans Group, Colombo City Centre when fully completed near the latter part of 2018, will feature a business hotel and close to 200 apartments as well.
