Thailand Tourist Inflow Set to Continue – Stable Growth of Tourism in Thailand

Thailand is well-known for its unique hospitality industry for both business and leisure travellers. Despite fluctuations of tourist arrivals to the country during the past few years, the Tourism Council of Thailand expects to attract 9.1 million foreigners in the second quarter of 2018. It is mainly because of the global economic recovery. According to recent statistics, 9.84 million foreign tourists have visited Thailand in the first quarter of 2018. The government of Thailand has taken numerous steps to improve logistics and infrastructure in order to accommodate the massive influx of tourists. Showing promising results, most of the hotels, resorts and even serviced apartments in Bangkok such as the likes of Anantara Baan Rajprasong Bangkok Serviced Suites were crowded with both locals and international tourists during Songkran in April 2018.
