Three Chinese Navy Ships in Maldives on Peace Mission – On a Mission of Peace

According to recent reports, three navy vessels from China arrived in Maldives on the 27th of August on a friendly visit. The ships that were dispatched on a peace mission by President Xi Jinping are scheduled to visit 23 other countries to perform maritime training in cooperation with other armed forces. A popular travel destination in the world with many luxurious accommodation options including Maldives five star hotels and island resorts such as Adaaran Prestige Vadoo, the country is expected to benefit greatly from these trainings. The programmes are set to be held onboard the Chinese vessels, at the Girifushi Training Centre and several headquarters in the MNDF area. Mohamed Ibrahim, the Coastguard Commander Colonel and several heads of the Maldivian Coastguard were among the officials who welcomed the ships into the harbour.
