Times Higher Education Emerging Economies Summit 2019 – Building a New Future

An event that drew representatives from higher education institutions from around the world, the Times Higher Education (THE) Emerging Economies Summit took place from 14th to 16th January 2019. This special summit was held together with Qatar University; the university also provided the hosting venue in a location that is easily accessible from five star hotels in Doha including properties such as Al Bidda Boutique Hotel.

Among the main aspects at the Times Higher Education Emerging Economies Summit 2019 was to put the focus on the existing opportunities for research universities and the role they can play in a country’s development. Featuring distinguished speakers and decision makers, the summit had a series of networking events, discussions and debates. Amongst the highlights was unveiling of THE Emerging Economies University Rankings for 2019.
