Tough Mudder in Bali 2016 – First Ever Festival in Asia takes Beach Capital by Storm

As one of the world’s most coveted obstacle and endurance testing contests, Tough Mudder held its first ever Asian event in Bali on October 1st this year. Dubbed “Tough Mudder Bali 2016” the gritty event took place from 7am to 6pm in the scenic confines of Southern Bali’s Jimbaran area. A host of local and foreign attendees were able to take advantage of the hotel deals Bali offered during this period to promote the event which featured a 16km race route. Those planning to catch such future events can look to stay at the island’s many accommodation options such as COMO Uma Ubud. As one of the top “racecation” (race / vacation) spectacles, Tougher Mudder is a global phenomenon that hosts over 200 events across 6 countries. With the annual participation swelling to a whopping 2.5 million, the obstacle course race which puts one’s wits and strength to the test, shows no sign of slowing down with its Bali event success behind it.
