Christmas is just that magical time of the year when everyone is in good cheer! Hong Kong, although you may not expect it certainly takes the celebration to a whole new high! The city is alive and alight at night in the month of December as the pumpkins are taken down and the Christmas bulbs are strung.

One of the famous tourist attractions in Hong Kong, Victoria Harbour is even more beautiful during the Christmas month with all sorts of decorative items placed very attractively here and there. Even hotels such as Dorsett Mongkok embrace the glitz and glamour of the season with their enchanting décor. The decorations get better and better each year as buildings try to top each other with their annual Christmas décor. Even though Christmas is not a typical Chinese holiday, the best time of year to visit and enjoy the season would be in December.
