World’s Tallest Chocolate Tower on Display at Dubai International Airport

Dubai, the city famed for its many skyscrapers saw the rise of another giant, but this time one made entirely out of chocolate! The World’s Tallest Structure in Chocolate, a replica of the Burj Khalifa, went on display for two weeks from the 30th of November at the Dubai International airport located just approximately 35 minutes away from Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa, a premier among Palm Jumeirah Hotels. The structure, made completely out of Belgian chocolate and standing at 13.5-metres, was the work of master chocolatier Andrew Farrugia. The chocolate Burj Khalifa adds another record to the list of Guinness World records Mr. Farrugia has broken as he was also responsible for creating a Guinness World Record for the longest chocolate sculpture in 2013, a 34-meter long chocolate steam train. Mr. Farrugia said that it took a painstaking 1,050 hours and 4,200 kilograms of Belgian chocolate to create his new chocolate masterpiece.
