Vanuatu 2017 10th Pacific Mini Games was kicked off on the 4th of December 2017 in Port Vila, Vanuatu with 9 athletes in four sports representing Guam.
The first on the schedule is the judo and weightlifting teams while preliminary rounds are scheduled on the 6th and 7th of December from 10 am to 2 pm with finals for each day programmed from 4 pm to 8 pm local time. Those who were based in a Vanuatu resort the likes of Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu were able to witness this glamorous event during their staycation.
Guam’s athletics group Shania Bulala, Athan Arizanga, Amanda Cruz and Genina Criss and will depart Guam on Friday. Josh Ilustre, the former Olympian is the team official while Criss and Arizanga are named as middle distance runners and Bulala as a sprinter.
