23rd Biennale of Sydney Continues its Run – A Focus on Rivers & Waterways

The Biennale of Sydney, now in its 23rd edition, is continuing in the New South Wales capital, featuring a diverse range of contemporary artworks and projects. Titled “rīvus”, this biennale is focusing on rivers as well as wetlands and such freshwater and saltwater ecosystems and how they are to be viewed as dynamic living systems. The event which launched on 12th March this year is expected to run till 13th June 2022 with creative works of art being displayed at several key venues.

These include the Art Gallery of New South Wales within easy reach of properties like Oaks Sydney Castlereagh Suites. For those staying at such a Haymarket-based apartment hotel, Sydney sightseeing can be combined with taking in the diverse art additionally on display at other locations too; these include the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, Arts and Cultural Exchange at Parramatta and Pier 2/3 at the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct. Also, of note are the daily events be it workshops, walking tours or creative experiences being hosted at The Waterhouse that can be found at The Cutaway at Barangaroo.
