This month, the National Boating Association of Maldives hosted its premier event of the year, the Maldives Marine Expo. As scheduled, it took place at Central Park in Hulhumale from 15th to 18th March 2023 and drew key stakeholders from the industry along with diverse international exhibitors. This year, diving was amongst the key aspects that were highlighted, and this destination continues to be one of the most popular places in the world for this activity. Some of the best Maldives resort options for diving can be found in the North Ari Atoll with properties like Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon providing access to thriving reefs and submerged wrecks.
This was the eighth edition of the Maldives Marine Expo and apart from diving, the event featured many other highlights too that were of interest to both industry professionals and visitors. These included product launches, displays of equipment, boats and yachts, panel discussions, workshops and networking sessions; there was also entertainment, recreational activities and fun things to do for kids ensuring a memorable day for those who attended.
