The ‘Samui Slam’ Beach Volleyball Tournament and Training Camp captivated participants from September 18 to 24 at the stunning SEEN Beach Club on Koh Samui’s Chaweng Beach. Commencing with a dynamic four-day Volleyball Training Camp, followed by the adrenaline-pumping three-day Beach Volleyball Tournament, the event drew a diverse mix of athletes, including international participants and local expats. Organizer Cord Biggs expressed immense pride in promoting beach volleyball in the region, extending gratitude to sponsors like 69 Slam, Samui Green Hotel, and others who supported the event. Led by a seasoned professional coach from Europe, the Training Camp offered participants valuable insights, skill enhancement, and a unique learning experience. Registrants enjoyed additional perks, including an enriching complimentary island tour courtesy of the Tourism Authority of Thailand. As teams fervently competed for prestigious rewards and prizes throughout the competition, spectators reveled in the vibrant atmosphere with free entry granted each day. For those visiting Koh Samui for the event, accommodations like Koh Samui luxury villas the likes of SAii Koh Samui would have been a great option to enhance their stay amidst the dynamic energy of the island.
