Abu Dhabi Airport launches smart travel system

Abu Dhabi International Airport introduced a smart travel system together with Etihad Airways and ConvergentAI. According to Time Out Abu Dhabi, this new system will further streamline the airport systems in the country and is a welcome departure from the usual hassles, particularly in the light of the COVID19 pandemic.

The CEO of Abu Dhabi airports, Shareef Al Hashmi said that by using Airport AI they can ensure that social distancing happens within the airports along with shorter queues and less crowding once the airport is back in full swing. A seamless experience at the airport can be further streamlined together with the aid of Abu Dhabi hotels the likes of Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara so hotel transfers can happen without any issues and delays.
