Abu Dhabi has once again been recognized as the safest city in the world and the most liveable in the MENA region, according to the Economist Intelligence Unit’s Global Liveability Index for 2024. Scoring 88.2 points on Numbeo’s Safety Index, the city has solidified its top position with an impressively low crime rate of just 11.8 points. While other cities like Doha and Kuwait City are making progress, Abu Dhabi leads the region with its consistent focus on safety and stability.
Abu Dhabi also does well to entice the global population with live-in accommodations like the Oaks Liwa Executive Suites and other excellent hotel offers in Dubai to welcome tourists and expats. Beyond safety, Abu Dhabi stands out for its robust healthcare and education systems. The city boasts 3,323 healthcare facilities, including 67 hospitals and over 12,000 licensed doctors, ensuring top-tier medical care. Additionally, with 459 schools offering a variety of educational options, Abu Dhabi is committed to preparing future generations, further boosting its reputation as a highly liveable city. These advancements not only enhance its own standing but also set a global benchmark.
