Abu Dhabi is working towards using tourism as a tool to promote the rich cultural heritage of the UAE as a result of an agreement signed between the Emirates Heritage Club and the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority. The said agreement has the objective of preserving, protecting and reviving national heritage with the long term hope of enhancing the tourist value of the country. The glorious Abu Dhabi marinas, the range of luxury hotels including Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Resorts and the exotic locations are a few other factors that would support this prospective boost in tourist inflow. Officials are aiming to make the capital a center for cultural tourism by highlighting unique activities such as rowing races and Dhow sailing, apart from the majestic sights with historic importance.
