Abu Dhabi’s new tourism quality controls to help tourists greatly – Reaching the ‘world class’ state

DCT Abu Dhabi (the Department of Culture and Tourism) plans to implement tourism quality standards and licensing framework soon. This is to improve the overall standards and transparency in the sector and this framework will be applied to all tourism offerings in the region. Authorities believe that this will impact the growth of the tourism sector on a massive scale.

All 5-star hotels in Abu Dhabi the likes of Anantara Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi Hotel will also be governed by a special set of control measurements, and in addition, separate guidelines will be applied to other key players such as amusement parks, attractions, and live events. The authorities plan to launch 10 different quality standards manuals focusing on diverse aspects.
