Thailand initially opened its international borders to tourists from low-risk countries, but now has decided to open the country to travellers from all countries regardless of the COVID -19 situation prevailing in those countries. But, as a precautionary action, 14-day quarantine policies have been enacted for everyone who comes to the country.
According to the official reports, not too many have accepted this initiative and they believe that this is primarily because of the quarantine requirement. However, every Bangkok city hotel the likes of Pathumwan Princess Hotel eagerly waits to welcome back tourists and treat them with true Thai hospitality. The government officials will surely consider easing the safety measures in the future if the risks appear to decrease with time.
