All-inclusive resorts gain steam among APAC travellers

With the increase of world tourism in recent years, the Maldives has been seeing more travellers from Europe and Asian countries such as China, Japan, India and South Korea. The market with the highest income would be China and next India due to its proximity to the Maldives.  All-inclusive resorts like Kuramathi Maldives have been experiencing rising occupancy and increased long stays.

At least a 10-day stay has been recorded when it comes to Chinese and Europeans. This new focus on tourism is sure to take the industry in the Maldives to the next level. A host of new Maldives island resorts with all-inclusive facilities are in the process of coming up. Tourism will rise bringing in better income and hopefully surpassing the number of arrivals in the previous year. The targets have been set quite high this year, Asian markets and Europeans markets will be the key to achieving them.
