Aussie Travel Industry Gathers for Sri Lanka – The Island Nation Proves to be Extremely Popular with Australians

The Sri Lanka Tourism Board recently completed a massive tour of Australia, conducting roadshows in most of the major cities on the continent. Australia was definitely a very wise choice on part of the island’s tourism board since the land down under is famous for having one of the highest travel expenditures per capita. More than 150 representatives of a wide range of entities within the travel industry took part in this event and contributed greatly to its success.

The Melbourne roadshow’s attendees were treated to a spectacular buffet featuring some of the finest dishes that Sri Lanka has to offer. Due to the success of the roadshows, many luxury resorts in Sri Lanka along the likes of Blue Water Club Suites would definitely see an increase in occupancy rates.
