Australia on track to reopen by Christmas at the latest – Great news after a while

Australian Minister for Trade, Tourism, and Investments recently declared that the government hopes to reopen the Australian borders by Christmas 2021 at the latest. He declared the same at a talk show that was broadcast online. He used this opportunity to encourage the Australian citizens to get themselves vaccinated with the coronavirus vaccine. The government hopes to pass the 80% national vaccination rate by the end of 2021, and as of September 2021, the rate was only 38%.

With this decision to reopen the borders, the travel and tourism sector will also have a good time. Hotels in Melbourne owned by popular hotel chains the likes of PARKROYAL would indeed be looking forward to this decision and would likely do their best to assure the health and safety of their guests.
