With the influx of tourism to the island, the outlook for Bali’s economy and the tourism sector in 2016 is looking quite positive. The economy as a whole is expected to show signs of growth this year ranging from 6.03% to 7.03%. One factor for this growth would be the increase in consumption and investment as well as the development of local infrastructure. Additionally, according to the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), Bali’s tourism sector is expected to grow by 4%, which is a significant amount that will be higher than other sectors. Tourism has become one of the key contributors to the local economy and such measures as increasing the number of countries that fall under the “visa-free” list is also seen as a positive move to boost tourism. At present there is a huge range of resorts Bali has to offer travellers to the island and options such as Anantara Seminiyak Bali Resort provide guests with enriching holidays that provide both cultural experiences and adventure activities.
