The Blackmore Sydney Running festival held this (2016) September celebrated athleticism at its best with a series of running events namely a marathon of 42.2 kilometres, a bridge run of nine kilometres as well as a four kilometre family run over the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The running events commenced at Bradfield Park, Milson’s Point and concluded at the Sydney Opera House apart from the bridge run which came to its conclusion near the Royal Botanic Gardens. During all the event’s organizers provided refreshing beverages at drinking stations set up every 3 kilometres apart to replenish participants’ electrodes and reenergize them. This annual event is a highlight of the Sydney events calendar and in order to participate in the next event in 2017, you can stay at one of the close by hotel apartments. Sydney CBD is rife with convenient and good places for accommodation such as the Oaks Goldsbrough Apartments.
